Forward Visibility from the Aft Cockpit

I've been out more often lately on my dufour 385GL, and one thing that keeps disturbing me especially when weaving through busy marinas or navigating tight anchorages is how limited the forward visibility can get from the aft cockpit. Between the dodger, headsail, and anyone lounging up front, there are moments where you're really flying blind and at this rate I've gotten so used to popping my head up like a meerkat or doing a little dance between the wheels, but I finally decided to ask on here and I dont even know if its possible but are there any smart workarounds or modifications to improve forward line of sight without compromising too much comfort or safety?

Forward looking sonar for underwater obstacles.
Crystal clear communication with the crew up front.
