Dufour 382 vs Jeanneau 389

My Uncle and I have been catching up and spending way too many evenings comparing boats and out of the tough comparisons we did was with the Dufour 382 and Jeanneau 389. On paper they're close in size and layout, but each has its own character. Jeanneau has that reputation for being a solid, versatile cruiser, while Dufour 382 feels like it leans more toward a modern, performance friendly design without giving up comfort. Anyway we went at it for a while and I wouldn't want to start saying it all but I thought to bring it up here to hear what others have to say

Both options are fantastic. Jeanneau's is more classic and easier to handle, whereas the Dufour 382 delivers crisper handling and a sportier feel. It really comes down to whether you prefer a comfortable cruise or you're after some performance.

I agree with @decksidedriftline22 comes down to whether you want the extra comfort at sea or a bit more grin factor under sail
